Hamilton, Bermuda – Global multi-line reinsurer FGH Parent, L.P. (“Fortitude Re”), today announced that Denise Nichols has joined the company as Chief Human Resources Officer, effective November 1, 2022.
Denise is a human resources leader with more than 30 years of insurance industry experience. Most recently, Denise served as the Chief Human Resources Officer for Voya Health and Wealth Solutions, where she was responsible for human capital strategy, talent acquisition, leadership development, inclusion and diversity.

Prior to joining Voya Health and Wealth Solutions, Denise served in various roles at Marsh & McLennan Companies including Head of Human Resources for Marsh U.S., Head of Global Talent Acquisition and Chief Administrative Officer for Marsh Global Specialties. Additionally, as an Executive Coach, Denise has partnered with over 70 executives across more than 20 countries to maximize their leadership performance personally and professionally.
Denise holds a BA in Psychology from Hofstra University and is certified in the Hogan Assessment Systems and the Insights Discovery Psychometric Assessment.

Denise succeeds Amanda Stewart, who will be assuming the role of Senior Vice President, Employee Experience reporting to Denise. In this new role, Amanda will be responsible for Fortitude Re’s strategy to deliver an employee experience that is engaging, enriching and rewarding.
