Fortitude Re, through its newly launched charitable arm Fortitude Re For Good, has committed strategic investments to align with non-profit organizations across its three locations in Jersey City, Nashville and Bermuda. Fortitude Re will focus its resources into community based organizations that align with its mission, vision and core values to ensure maximum impact.
As part of the Fortitude Re For Good initiative, the Jersey City Office has committed to continuing its long-term relationship with community partner Rising Tide Capital, an innovative Jersey City based non-profit organization providing small business development services to entrepreneurs in disadvantaged communities. With a multifaceted donation, Fortitude Re’s 2022 efforts will reinforce support services for low-income women and minority entrepreneurs around issues of business growth and resilience, including accessing financial capital and strategies to navigate the changing landscape of business in a post-COVID economy. Additionally, Fortitude Re has committed to support Rising Tide’s Community Business Academy through individual volunteering opportunities and larger group volunteer events in Jersey City.
